Employment Type: Part Time

Location: New York, New York

Compensation: $48,000 - $72,000 / year

Description

At ReD Associates, our offices are more than places to work. They are an expression of who we are.

As Office Manager, you will play a central role in shaping the daily employee, client, and visitor experience in our New York office.

Through office management, operational coordination, event support, and administrative responsibilities, you will help ensure that our workplace consistently reflects the quality, attention to detail, and standards that define ReD.

This role sits at the intersection of culture and operations. You will help create an environment where employees can do their best work, clients experience ReD at its best, and company events and initiatives are executed to a high standard.

Success in this role requires someone who takes ownership, notices the details others overlook, and understands that the way an organization operates sends a powerful message about who it is.

You will become an integral member of our Operations Team and play an important role in bringing ReD's culture, values, and standards to life every day.

This is a part‑time position based in our New York office. There is potential for the role to grow over time, with the opportunity for increased working hours and an expanded scope of responsibilities as business needs evolve.

Only candidates who are legally allowed to work in the US will be considered.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and we reserve the right to close the position before the application deadline if the right candidate is found.

Key Responsibilities
Workplace Experience & Culture
  • Maintain a workplace environment that consistently reflects ReD's culture, standards, aesthetics, and attention to detail
  • Take ownership of the day‑to‑day office experience, ensuring colleagues, clients, and visitors encounter a workplace that feels welcoming, professional, and distinctly ReD
  • Curate and maintain office spaces, meeting rooms, and common areas to support collaboration, productivity, and a high-quality employee experience
  • Ensure the office is fully equipped, organized, and operating smoothly, including oversight of supplies, shared spaces, kitchen facilities, and office services
  • Act as a steward of the physical workplace, proactively identifying opportunities to improve the office environment and operational effectiveness
  • Coordinate the practical details that contribute to memorable employee and client experiences, from hospitality and office presentation to special events and celebrations
  • Help ensure that client visits, interviews, workshops, and internal meetings are supported to the high standard expected of ReD
Events & Community
  • Help create and execute internal events, gatherings, celebrations, and retreats that strengthen community, reinforce culture, and contribute to the ReD employee experience
  • Support the planning and coordination of company retreats, manager gatherings, onboarding experiences, and other internal events
  • Coordinate the practical execution of social office events, ensuring a seamless and high‑quality experience
Operations & Administration
  • Serve as a key operational support partner to the Operations Team, providing coordination, follow‑up, logistics, and administrative support across a range of initiatives
  • Support the smooth running of office operations through effective coordination with vendors, service providers, building management, and office subletters
  • Act as the primary coordinator for workplace‑related questions and practical office matters, helping connect colleagues with the appropriate resources and support
  • Maintain oversight of office calendars, schedules, and shared activities to support coordination across the office
  • Support the management of office subscriptions, services, and operational resources, helping ensure consistency and efficiency in day‑to‑day operations
  • Serve as a local point of coordination for workplace technology and infrastructure, partnering with internal and external IT support to ensure a reliable employee experience
Finance & Operational Excellence
  • Support finance operations through the administration of employee expenses and expense processes, ensuring timely submissions and accurate documentation
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes, helping identify opportunities to make the office and employee experience more efficient and effective
Skills Knowledge and Expertise

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating order, elevating experiences, and taking ownership of the countless details that contribute to a high‑performing workplace.

You are someone who naturally notices what could be improved and takes action before being asked. You understand that excellence is often expressed through small details, consistent execution, and thoughtful follow‑through.

You enjoy balancing practical hands‑on responsibilities with administrative coordination, and you take pride in creating environments that feel welcoming, professional, and distinctly reflective of the organization they represent.
