Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an in-person Office Experience Manager to lead a team of Tax Advisors and CSPs, translate directives into disciplined execution, and accelerate seasonal tax business.

The role starts part-time in fall and expands through January–April, with evening and weekend hours as needed. This is an in-person position requiring on-site presence to coach, develop, and drive office growth.

Qualifications

• Experience managing people and holding associates accountable in service/retail.
• Strong client-centric mindset with a commitment to differentiating the client experience.
• Demonstrated coaching capability with ability to observe, give direct feedback and drive change.
• Solid decision-making and judgment in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including handling difficult conversations.
• Data fluency to interpret KPI, survey, and coaching data to guide daily priorities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the daily consultative client experience with discipline on every appointment.
• Model consultative, client-centric behaviors in all interactions and set team standards.
• Serve as on-site point of contact for escalated client service concerns and resolve with sound judgment.
• Conduct client walk/talks and exits to gather feedback for coaching across roles.
• Lead daily office operations, scheduling, timekeeping, and overtime management.
• Drive office-level growth targets with OEM and DGM and reinforce client engagement.
