Job summary

Mercy Home Health is seeking a clerical support specialist for Outpatient Rehabilitation across multiple locations. You will register patients, schedule referrals and appointments by discipline, and handle POS collections while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include navigating the EMR system, verifying insurance details, and maintaining patient records. The role requires a high school diploma (GED) with a preference for an associate degree and BLS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
• BLS by the AHA within 6 months of hire.
• Experience with Mercy Health benefits and patient contact is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Register all new patients with accurate demographic and insurance data.
• Schedule new referrals and recurring appointments by diagnosis and discipline.
• Handle Point of Service collections for balances.
