The Ohio State University, Office of Student Life—Counseling and Consultation, seeks an Office Associate to provide essential administrative support to the Clinical Services area and leadership. The role includes coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and managing data within the Clinical Services manual, while assisting with reception operations and crisis contact handling.
Located in the Younkin Success Center (0052) in Columbus, this 40-hour-per-week position requires flexibility for
Provides administrative support to the Clinical Services area including the Associate and Assistant Directors; assists the Office Manager; serves as liaison between staff and clinical service operations; prepares and distributes reports, materials, and correspondence; coordinates and schedules meetings and events to include arrangements for facilities and meals; maintains and processes clinical services data and the Clinical Services manual; assists the Front Desk Coordinator with the overall reception operations which require scheduling clinical appointments, face-to-face and telephone contact with persons in crisis. This position requires flexible working hours, which may include occasional backup for evening coverage.
High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be required. Associate degree in relevant field may be preferred. 2 years of relevant experience required. 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred.
Experience in clinical office practices and procedures, including customer service and public relations. Prior experience handling confidential information. Ability to multi-task, re-prioritize and maintain composure in a high volume, unpredictable environment; Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint and PowerPoint and experience with inputting and exporting data to/from a database.
The pay range for this position is $19.28 - $21.72. The offer for this position will be based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
