DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Specialist – Off Field Operations to support critical store processes and keep the store athlete-ready. You will engage with athletes, deliver product knowledge, and contribute to a high-energy, customer-focused environment.

With 1–3 years of retail or customer-facing experience, you’ll help execute merchandising standards and participate in programs that enhance the shopper experience. This role emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and precision in operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience; prior retail or customer-facing work preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Engage with athletes to understand shopping needs and provide knowledgeable product information.
• Drive sales through service and recommendations based on athlete needs.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new team members as a store subject matter expert.
• Serve as a go-to expert for designated store processes to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain athlete-first mindset and ensure products are ready for purchase and athletes are engaged.
• Follow merchandising standards, floor sets, signage, price changes and inventory presentation.
• Promote participation in loyalty programs and other company initiatives.
• Create a welcoming store environment where teammates and athletes feel respected.
