Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Specialist – Off Field Operations to support critical store processes and keep the store athlete-ready. You will help with inventory accuracy, fulfillment, and daily operational execution on the floor.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of retail or customer-facing experience, a high school diploma, and a coachable, collaborative attitude. You’ll contribute to a welcoming environment and drive exceptional athlete experiences every day.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience.
• Previous retail or customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers an outstanding athlete experience by proactively engaging athletes and providing clear, accurate information about products and assortment.
• Onboards and trains new and existing team members as subject matter expert in their area of the store, focusing on best practices and key operational processes.
• Demonstrates efficiency and effectiveness in process execution while maintaining an athlete-first mindset; ensures products are ready for athletes to purchase and engaged.
• Upholds company merchandising and presentation standards by following floor set plans and signage requirements.
• Promotes and drives customer participation in company programs (loyalty, warranty sales, private label enrollment).
• Creates a store environment where everyone is welcomed and treated with respect, adhering to safety and loss prevention policies.
