DICK’S Sporting Goods is hiring a Specialist – Off Field Operations to support critical in-store processes and help keep the store athlete-ready. You’ll engage athletes, share product knowledge, and help teammates deliver exceptional service on the floor.

You’ll contribute to inventory accuracy, merchandising standards, and execution of store programs with a teamwork-driven, athlete-first mindset.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience
• Previous retail or customer-facing experience preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in a retail environment is valued

Responsibilities

• Delivers an outstanding athlete experience by proactively engaging athletes to understand their shopping needs and provide knowledgeable product information.
• Assists with onboarding and training of new team members as subject matter expert in their area.
• Serves as go-to expert in designated process areas to ensure smooth execution and high productivity.
• Maintains inventory presentation, pricing changes, and replenishment standards to support store readiness.
• Promotes customer participation in programs such as loyalty, warranty, and private label enrollment.
• Creates a welcoming environment where teammates and athletes are treated with respect.
• Adheres to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures and external laws.
• Upholds merchandising and presentation standards and ensures products are ready for purchase

Education
