Job summary

SunSource, a leading North American industrial distributor, seeks an experienced OEM Account Manager to grow key OEM relationships across Southeast Michigan. You will leverage mobile hydraulics expertise to identify customer needs and deliver engineered fluid power solutions.

Join a collaborative team, travel as needed, and build long-term partnerships with engineering, customer service, and operations teams while expanding our mobile fluid power and hydraulic product offerings.

Qualifications

2+ years outside sales experience in mobile hydraulics or fluid power.
Experience with technical sales, product application support, troubleshooting, or engineered solutions.

Responsibilities

Grow and manage key OEM accounts and develop new business opportunities in the territory.
Build relationships with OEM engineering, purchasing, operations, and leadership teams to become a trusted fluid power partner.
Identify customer needs and recommend engineered mobile hydraulic solutions.
Prospect for new business through site visits, referrals, and technical presentations.
Coordinate with engineering and service teams to develop effective customer solutions.
Maintain territory activity, opportunities, and forecasts using CRM.
