Job summary

Vaco Recruiter Services is hiring a Business Development Engineer to drive new OEM opportunity development nationwide from a remote U.S. base. The role emphasizes hunter-style growth with mid-size to large OEMs in industrial markets.

You will engage with R&D, design engineering, and procurement teams, navigating long technical cycles and leveraging bearing, power transmission, and related components knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical B2B/OEM sales or business development experience.
• Proven success developing new OEM business.
• Experience selling engineered industrial products directly to OEM customers.
• Strong network with R&D/design engineers and procurement/buyers.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business within targeted mid-size and large OEM accounts.
• Prospect into assigned target companies and identify key contacts and opportunities.
• Build relationships across R&D, design engineering, purchasing/procurement, quality, and management.
• Partner with engineering teams early in the customer's design process to identify applications for engineered bearing solutions.
• Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle from prospecting to production.
