Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a friendly and detail-oriented server at the Embassy Suites Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort. You will greet guests, take and input orders, and ensure accurate delivery with appropriate condiments while complying with beverage service rules.

Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible availability and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Check station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness.
• Greet guests in a friendly manner and explain specials/promotions.
• Input the order into the POS computer and relay details to the kitchen.
• Retrieve orders from kitchen, verify accuracy, and deliver to guests with condiments.
• Abide by state, federal and corporate policies for serving alcoholic beverages.
