Job summary

Loews Miami Beach Hotel is seeking a friendly, guest-focused Host/Hostess to warmly welcome guests as they arrive and guide them to seating. You will manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists with the hotel’s systems, while coordinating with servers and managers to maintain smooth dining room flow.

The ideal candidate is organized, calm under pressure, and able to multitask in a vibrant South Beach setting. Flexibility for varying shifts, including nights and weekends, is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or guest service preferred.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and demeanor required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
• Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists using the hotel's reservation system.
• Escort guests to tables and provide menus.
• Communicate estimated wait times and seating options.
• Maintain clean and organized host stand and entrance area.
• Answer inquiries regarding hours, menus, and reservations.
• Coordinate with servers and managers to ensure timely seating and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor dining room flow and adjust seating plans as needed.
• Assist with guest recovery and resolve concerns with empathy.
• Follow hotel policies to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
