Job summary

Loews Miami Beach Hotel invites friendly, guest-focused hosts/hostesses to join our oceanfront dining team in South Beach. You will manage reservations, greet guests, and guide them to seating with a warm, professional demeanor.

Maintain a smooth host stand, coordinate with servers, and ensure a memorable dining experience reflective of our brand. Flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in busy environments.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
• Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists using the hotel's reservation system.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
• Communicate estimated wait times and accommodate seating requests when possible.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area.
• Answer phone calls and assist with hours, menus, and reservations.
• Coordinate with servers and managers to ensure timely seating and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor dining room flow and adjust seating plans as needed.
• Assist with guest recovery and resolve minor concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Follow hotel policies to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
• Regular and reliable attendance in conformance with company standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
