JAS Forwarding (USA), Inc. seeks an Ocean Import Supervisor to oversee daily ocean import operations. You will support the Import Manager, liaise with operations and leadership, and drive process efficiency and high service standards.

The role requires 4–6 years in ocean imports, FDA knowledge, and strong organizational and communication skills. Located in Newark, NJ with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED.
• 4–6 years experience in ocean imports or related field.
• FDA experience is required.
• Knowledge of ISF procedures and POA/FPOA entry processes.
• Good working knowledge of FDA and OGA transactions.

Aufgaben

• Receive and track customer bookings/orders.
• Send shipping instructions overseas per SOPs.
• Notify customer of arrival and charges, including delays and holds.
• Process Customs entries and FDA-related entries.
• Transmit information to ABI and monitor releases.
• Bill/invoice files to customers with payment terms.
• Coordinate entry and break bulk shipments.
• Answer customer requests per company standards.
• Ensure file contains all necessary documents.
