Yang Ming Marine Transport Corp. is seeking an Outside Sales Account Executive to market and sell ocean transportation services in the PNW region.

The role focuses on developing and managing relationships with existing and new customers to secure business in import/export trade lanes, reporting to the Regional Sales Director. The incumbent will be responsible for managing customer relationships, achieving sales targets, and coordinating with pricing, operations, and other teams to meet

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of outside sales in ocean transportation.
• Willingness to travel and operate across the assigned region (PNW).
• Proficient with MS Office suite and CRM.
• Domicile in the Seattle/Tacoma area.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage TPWB, TPEB, TAWB, and TAEB outbound/inbound trades to maximize profit.
• Make in-person visits to new and existing customers (minimum 8 face-to-face meetings per week).
• Use CRM for sales leads, targets, and client information.
• Pursue and secure new customers.
• Negotiate rates and build relationships with customers.
• Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets/KPI.
