Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is hiring an Occupational Therapy Assistant to implement OT programs in-facility, follow recovery plans, and deliver treatments that restore patients' function. You’ll work under the Director of Rehab, collaborating with a team to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.

Applicants must graduate from an accredited OTA program and hold NBCOT certification, with licensure eligibility in the state of practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in implementing occupational therapy programs and activities.
• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
• Help restore, reinforce, and enhance patients' physical abilities and independence.
• Collaborate with the rehab team to support patient goals.
