Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to implement therapy programs in facility-based settings. You will follow recovery plans, deliver treatments, and collaborate with the rehab team to improve patient outcomes.

This role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care and adaptation to meet individual needs. The ideal candidate will have completed an accredited OTA program, earned NBCOT certification, and be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Help patients get well by implementing occupational therapy programs.
• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
• Collaborate with the rehab team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain compassionate, patient-centered care and support adaptive activities.
• Communicate progress and needs to supervising clinicians.
