Job summary

Trilogy Home Healthcare in Port Saint Lucie, FL is hiring a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our award-winning home health team. You will work under physicians orders and with a Clinical Services Team to help patients regain mobility and independence at home.

Requirements include Florida active COTA license, valid FL driver’s license and insurance, and 1+ years of COTA experience; home health experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy Program (AOTA-approved).
• Active Florida COTA license.
• Valid Florida driver's license, active vehicle insurance, and clear MVR.
• 1+ years of experience as a COTA; Home Health experience preferred.
• Strong initiative and independent judgement.
• Alignment with the agency's mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality, personalized care per physician orders and care plans.
• Collaborate with Occupational Therapists and Clinical Services Team.
• Help patients regain mobility, strength, and independence after illness or surgery.
• Educate patients and families on improving balance and walking and preventing decline.
• Assess and ensure safe mobility in the home environment.
