Synchrony in Muncie, Indiana, is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to support therapeutic interventions under an Occupational Therapist. You will assist in treatment plans, perform ADL training, and help patients improve functional independence.

You will document responses, guide home exercises for patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care. CPR certification preferred and 0–1 years’ experience.

Qualifications

• OTA licensure or certification required and maintained
• Current CPR certification preferred
• Education: OTA program degree from accredited program
• Experience: 0-1 years

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans developed by OTs, including exercises and ADL training.
• Help patients with exercises and adaptive techniques to improve independence.
• Document patient responses, progress, and report to supervising OT.
• Provide home exercises guidance to patients and families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Support OTs in evaluating patient needs and progress.
• Other duties as assigned.
