Job summary

Synchrony is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to work under an Occupational Therapist in an interdisciplinary setting in Muncie, Indiana. The OTA will assist with therapeutic exercises, ADL training, and progress documentation, while educating patients and families on home programs to support continued progress.

Qualifications include an OTA degree/certificate and 0–1 year of experience, plus licensure/certification and CPR (preferred).

• Experience range 0-1 years in OTA role
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans developed by occupational therapists
• Help patients with exercises and ADL training to improve independence
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of patient responses and progress
• Educate patients and families on home exercises and adaptive techniques
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Support OTs in evaluating patient needs and progress
• Other duties as assigned
