Job summary

Synchrony in Muncie, IN, is hiring an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA). You will work under an OT to deliver therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary setting, supporting patients to improve daily living skills. Requirements include OTA licensure and CPR certification (preferred) with 0–1 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Education: degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Must hold and maintain current OTA licensure or certification; CPR certification preferred.
• Experience: 0-1 years in an OTA role.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans developed by occupational therapists, including exercises and ADL training.
• Help patients with exercises and adaptive techniques to improve independence.
• Observe and document patient responses and progress; report to supervising OT.
• Provide education to patients and families on home exercises and strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Support OTs in evaluating patientneeds and progress; provide observations.
• Other duties as assigned.
