Responsibilities include carrying out treatment plans, assisting with ADL training, documenting patient progress, educating patients and families on home exercises, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifikationen

• Education: Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Experience: 0-1 years.
• Licenses: Must have and maintain a current state OTA licensure or certification; CPR certification preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans developed by occupational therapists, including therapeutic exercises, ADL training, and other interventions.
• Help patients with exercises, activities, and adaptive techniques aimed at improving their functional abilities and independence.
• Observe and document patients' responses, progress, and report findings to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on home exercises and progress strategies.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Support Occupational Therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress, providing additional observations and insights.
• Other duties as assigned.
