Job summary

Synchrony is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in Muncie, Indiana. Under supervision of an Occupational Therapist, you will provide therapeutic interventions and help implement treatment plans in an interdisciplinary setting.

The role requires OTA licensure, CPR certification (preferred), and 0–1 year of experience. You will support patients and families, document progress, and collaborate with the care team while benefiting from weekly pay and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• OTA degree from an accredited program.
• Experience: 0-1 years in occupational therapy assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans developed by occupational therapists, including exercises and ADL training.
• Help patients with exercises and adaptive techniques to improve independence.
• Observe and document patient responses and progress for supervising OT.
• Educate patients and families on home exercises and strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Support OT in evaluating patient needs and progress with observations.
• Other duties as assigned.
