Synchrony in Muncie, IN is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to provide therapeutic interventions under an OT's direction. You will assist with treatment plans, support ADL training, and contribute to patient progress documentation.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Licensing: Must have and maintain a current OTA licensure or certification; CPR certification preferred.
• Experience: 0-1 years.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans developed by occupational therapists, including therapeutic exercises, ADL training, and other interventions.
• Help patients with exercises, activities, and adaptive techniques to improve functional abilities and independence.
• Observe and document patients' responses to therapy, progress, and report findings to supervising OT.
• Provide education to patients and families on home exercises, adaptive techniques, and strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Support OTs in evaluating patient needs and progress with additional observations.
• Other duties as assigned.
