Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to conduct assessments, develop and supervise therapy plans, and coordinate care with the Rehab Director. The role emphasizes improving physical function, sensory-integration, and independence in daily living.

You will educate patients and families, document progress, and participate in case conferences and quality assurance activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a curriculum in Occupational Therapy awarding a Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Current Texas state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
• Two years of experience as an Occupational Therapist; home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts assessments and reassessments of the patient’s level of function by applying diagnostic and prognostic procedures.
• Plans, implements, and supervises an individualized therapeutic program designed to restore physical function and independence.
• Coordinates with the Rehab Director or designee to integrate therapy into the care plan.
• Teaches patients in therapeutic activities and self-care to improve function and independence.
• Documents patient progress and communicates changes in condition or treatment.
• Participates in patient case conferences and quality assurance activities.
