Job summary

The OT will collaborate with the Rehab Director, educate families, document progress, and participate in quality improvement activities while maintaining compliance with state licensing.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an OT program accredited by the AMA/AOTA with a bachelor’s degree or higher.
• TX license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
• Two years of OT experience required; home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts assessments and reassessments of patient function using diagnostic/prognostic procedures.
• Plans, implements, and supervises individualized therapeutic programs to restore function and independence.
• Coordinates with Rehab Director to integrate therapy into the care plan.
• Instructs patients and family members in therapeutic activities and self-care techniques.
