Job summary

Westside Children's Therapy is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join our pediatric team in Illinois. You will assess clients, implement sensory, fine motor, and cognitive interventions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary group to support each child’s development.

In this role, you’ll work Monday through Friday afternoon/evening hours, provide family guidance, and contribute to a fun, collaborative clinic culture focused on neurodiverse pediatric populations.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• OT licensure or license eligible, in Illinois; NBCOT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients for adaptations and use of special equipment when necessary.
• Identify and implement therapeutic interventions to develop fine motor skills, cognition, language, self-care, regulation, and more.
• Provide support and guidance to families to foster treatment practices at home.

What You’ll Do

• Assess clients for adaptations and use of special equipment when necessary
• Identify and implement therapeutic interventions that help develop client’s fine motor skills, cognition, language skills, self care skills, regulation, and more
• Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited occupational therapy program
• Successfully pass the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
• OT licensure or license eligible, in the state of Illinois
