Job summary

Westside Children’s Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a part-time evening position in Carol Stream, IL. The role focuses on pediatric therapy with a team of SLPs, PTs, and counselors in a collaborative setting.

The ideal candidate holds a graduate degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in OT, is NBCOT-certified, and licensed or eligible in Illinois. Work hours are 3pm–7pm on weekdays, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) required.
• OT licensure or license eligible in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients for adaptations and use of equipment as needed.
• Implement interventions to improve fine motor, cognition, language, self-care, regulation, and related skills.
• Provide guidance to families to support treatment practices at home.

What You’ll Do:

• Assess clients for adaptations and use of special equipment when necessary
• Identify and implement therapeutic interventions that help develop client’s fine motor skills, cognition, language skills, self care skills, regulation, and more
• Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment

Qualifications / What We’re Looking For:

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited occupational therapy program
• Successfully pass the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
• OT licensure or license eligible, in the state of Illinois
