Job summary

Westside Children's Therapy is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist for evenings and Saturdays at the Shorewood clinic in Illinois. You will assess pediatric clients, tailor interventions to improve fine motor, cognition, language, self-care, and regulation, and guide families to support treatment at home.

The role requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in OT, IL licensure or eligibility, and NBOT certification.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Successful completion of the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• OT licensure or license-eligible in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients for adaptations and use of equipment when necessary.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to develop fine motor, cognition, language, self-care, and regulation skills.
• Provide guidance to families to support treatment practices at home.

What You’ll Do:

• Assess clients for adaptations and use of special equipment when necessary
• Identify and implement therapeutic interventions that help develop client’s fine motor skills, cognition, language skills, self care skills, regulation, and more
• Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment

QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For:

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited occupational therapy program

• OT licensure or license eligible, in the state of Illinois
