Job summary

Westside Children's Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team in Naperville, IL. You will assess clients, prescribe interventions, and guide families to apply treatment strategies in daily life.

The role emphasizes pediatric therapy, collaboration with SLPs, PTs, counselors, and ABA professionals, and offers mentorship, a supportive culture, and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Successfully pass the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• OT licensure or license eligible in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients for adaptations and use of equipment when necessary.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to develop fine motor skills, cognition, language, self-care skills, regulation, and more.
• Provide guidance to families to reinforce treatment practices at home.

What You’ll Do

• Assess clients for adaptations and use of special equipment when necessary
• Identify and implement therapeutic interventions that help develop client’s fine motor skills, cognition, language skills, self care skills, regulation, and more
• Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited occupational therapy program
• Successfully pass the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
• OT licensure or license eligible, in the state of Illinois
