Job summary

Westside Children's Therapy in Illinois is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team, focusing on Sensory Integration Therapy, Feeding Therapy, and Pediatric Mental Health.

You will assess clients, design interventions to develop fine motor, cognition, language, self-care, and regulation, and counsel families to apply treatment at home.

Licensure in IL, NBCOT certification, and a master's or doctoral OT degree are required; strong collaboration and creativity are valued.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited OT program.
• Successfully pass the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• OT licensure or license eligible in the state of Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients for adaptations and use of special equipment when necessary.
• Identify and implement therapeutic interventions to develop fine motor, cognition, language, self-care, regulation and more.
• Provide support and guidance to families to foster treatment practices at home.

Education

Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy (OC/T)

What You’ll Do

• Assess clients for adaptations and use of special equipment when necessary
• Identify and implement therapeutic interventions that help develop client’s fine motor skills, cognition, language skills, self care skills, regulation, and more
• Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment

Qualifications
