Job summary

Westside Children's Therapy in Shorewood, IL is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist for evenings and occasional Saturday hours. The role focuses on pediatric OT, including sensory integration, feeding therapy, and mental health work with a multidisciplinary team.

You will assess, design, and implement interventions, and coach families to carry out treatment plans at home. A graduate degree and IL licensure or eligibility are required, with competitive hourly pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Pass the NBCOT examination.

What You’ll Do:

• Assess clients for adaptations and use of special equipment when necessary
• Identify and implement therapeutic interventions that help develop client’s fine motor skills, cognition, language skills, self care skills, regulation, and more
• Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited occupational therapy progra
• Successfully pass the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
• OT licensure or license eligible, in the state of Illinois
