Job summary

Westside Children’s Therapy Inc. in Schaumburg, IL is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist for evening hours to support pediatric clients in a clinic setting.

This role emphasizes Sensory Integration, feeding and developmental therapies, working with a multidisciplinary team. You will assess clients, design and implement interventions to develop fine motor skills, cognition, language, self-care, and regulation, and coach families to carry treatment into daily life.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Pass the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• OT licensure or license eligible in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients for adaptations and use of special equipment when necessary.
• Identify and implement therapeutic interventions to develop fine motor skills, cognition, language, self-care, regulation, and more.
• Provide support and guidance to families to reinforce treatments at home.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment

Qualifications

• Successfully pass the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
• OT licensure or license eligible, in the state of Illinois
