Ascension Sacred Heart Ortho Rehab in Pensacola, FL, seeks a qualified Occupational Therapist to assess and plan treatment, document progress, and oversee therapy staff. The role includes discharge planning and guidance on adaptive equipment and programs.

Assess patient 's ability to safely and effectively perform independent living skills.
Design the appropriate plan of care, including type and frequency of treatment. Implement the treatment plan using appropriate modalities.
Document findings of patient progress. Monitors and modifies the plan of care as needed. Seek consultation as necessary.
Plan and/or assist with patient discharge from therapy services and provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support programs.
Oversee the care provided by certified occupational therapy assistants and therapy 3-Technicians according to established regulations and practice standards.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Occupational Therapy (OT) credentialed from the Florida Board of Occupational Therapy prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
