Job summary

NorthTexas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide pediatric services in clients' homes or daytime facilities. You will conduct assessments, determine impairment, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and implement therapy programs for ages 0–21.

The role includes educating families, documenting progress, and supervising assistants as needed, with opportunities for professional growth within a therapist-owned practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Texas state license.
• Experience in pediatrics required.
• Clinical/Practicum hours completed.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services in the home or daytime facility for patients 0–21 years old, 2+ times per week, per physician orders.
• Define patients' degree and type of impairment using appropriate testing instruments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan goals and advise on occupational therapy modalities and interventions.
• Plan and modify care to meet goals of occupational therapy interventions.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients with training materials and resources.
• May supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.

• Educatestaff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training,printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with atotal occupational therapy program.
• Mayprovide supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants
