Job summary

NorthTexas Therapy seeks a dedicated Occupational Therapist to deliver pediatric OT services in home health settings in Addison, TX. You will assess, plan, and implement therapy programs for children 0–21, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and family caregivers.

Applicants must hold a Texas OT license, have pediatrics experience, complete practicum hours, and be willing to work full-time. Spanish bilingual candidates are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelors/Masters degree in occupational therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Current Texas state license.
• Experience in pediatrics required.
• Clinical/Practicum hours completed.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services in the home or daytime facility for patients 0-21 years old, 2+ times per week.
• Define patients' degree and type of impairment using appropriate testing instruments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written reports.
• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to plan and evaluate goals and interventions.
• Plan for and modify care to meet OT goals.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients with training and resources.
• May provide supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.

• Definepatients' degree and type of physical, fine motor, and sensoryimpairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments.
• Interpretdiagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
• Incollaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate teamgoals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct the teamin specific occupational therapy modalities and interventions.
• Planfor and modify care to meet goals of occupational therapy interventions.
• Educatestaff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training,printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with atotal occupational therapy program.
• Mayprovide supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants
