Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to provide skilled OT services in the home or daytime facility for patients aged 0–21. The role involves assessing impairments, interpreting data, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to set and adjust goals.

Supervisory opportunities for CNAs and home health experience are a plus. Applicants should hold a Bachelor's or Master's in OT with a current Texas license and have pediatric experience; bilingual

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Current Texas state license.
• Experience in pediatrics required.
• Clinical/Practicum hours completed.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services in the home or daytime facility for patients 0–21 years old, 2+ times per week, per physician orders.
• Define patients' degree and type of impairment using testing instruments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to plan and evaluate goals for each patient and advise on OT modalities.
• Plan for and modify care to meet OT intervention goals.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients with training materials and in-service programs.
• May provide supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.

• Incollaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate teamgoals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct the teamin specific occupational therapy modalities and interventions.
• Planfor and modify care to meet goals of occupational therapy interventions.
• Educatestaff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training,printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with atotal occupational therapy program.
• Mayprovide supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants
