North Texas Therapy is seeking a licensed occupational therapist to provide pediatric OT services in clients' homes or daytime facilities in Forney, Texas. The role involves working with patients aged 0–21 years, typically 2 or more visits per week, under physician orders.

Applicants should hold a degree in occupational therapy, a current Texas license, and have pediatric experience with completed clinical hours. Spanish is a plus.

Qualificações

• Bachelors/Masters degree in occupational therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Current Texas state license.
• Experience in pediatrics.
• Clinical/Practicum hours completed.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2+ times per week, per physician orders.
• Define patients' degree and type of impairment by selecting and administering testing instruments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to plan and evaluate goals and instruct OT modalities.
• Plan for and modify care to meet OT goals.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients with training materials and in-service programs.
• May supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.

• Incollaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate teamgoals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct the teamin specific occupational therapy modalities and interventions.
• Planfor and modify care to meet goals of occupational therapy interventions.
• Educatestaff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training,printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with atotal occupational therapy program.
• Mayprovide supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants
