NorthTexas Therapy seeks a licensed occupational therapist to provide pediatric OT services in home or daytime facilities for children aged 0–21, with 2+ visits per week per physician orders. You will assess, test, report, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to drive meaningful improvements in motor and sensory functions.

You will educate staff and families, adapt plans to meet goals, and may supervise assistants.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Texas OT license.
• Experience in pediatrics required.
• Clinical/practicum hours completed.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services in the home or daytime facility for patients 0–21 years old, 2+ times weekly.
• Define patient degree and type of impairment using appropriate testing instruments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to plan goals and advise the team on OT modalities.
• Plan for and modify care to meet OT intervention goals.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients with training and materials.
• May supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.

Responsibilities:

• Provideskilled occupational therapy services in the home or daytime facility ofpatients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance withphysician orders.
• Definepatients degree and type of physical, fine motor, and sensoryimpairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments.
• Interpretdiagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
• Incollaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate teamgoals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct the teamin specific occupational therapy modalities and interventions.
• Planfor and modify care to meet goals of occupational therapy interventions.
• Educatestaff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training,printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with atotal occupational therapy program.
• Mayprovide supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants
