Job summary

McClure Post Acute in Oakland, CA is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our in-house rehabilitation team on a full-time, part-time, or PRN basis. The role offers a starting pay of $62.00–$64.00 per hour, DOE, with a supportive, family-oriented workplace focused on resident-centered care.

  • Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other therapists.
  • Educate residents and families on adaptive equipment and home safety.

What You'll Do

As an Occupational Therapist, you'll help residents develop or regain the skills they need to safely perform everyday activities and maximize their independence.

Responsibilities include:
  • Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide skilled therapeutic interventions focused on ADLs, functional independence, safety, and quality of life
  • Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members
  • Educate residents and families on adaptive equipment, home safety, therapeutic techniques, and strategies for greater independence
  • Participate in care planning and discharge planning as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
Qualifications
  • Current and active California Occupational Therapist (OT) license in good standing
  • Strong clinical and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care
