Job summary

McClure Post Acute is actively seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our in-house rehabilitation team in Oakland, CA. This role offers full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities with a starting pay rate of $62.00–$64.00 per hour, DOE.

As part of an experienced, family-oriented facility, you’ll evaluate and treat residents to regain independence, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and benefit from ongoing mentorship and loan repayment opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current and active California Occupational Therapist license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions focused on ADLs, functional independence, safety, and quality of life.
• Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members.
• Educate residents and families on adaptive equipment, home safety, therapeutic techniques, and strategies for greater independence.
• Participate in care planning and discharge planning as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.

What You'll Do

As an Occupational Therapist, you'll help residents develop or regain the skills they need to safely perform everyday activities and maximize their independence.
