Job summary

Saber Health Group is seeking an occupational therapist to join our compassionate therapy team in a skilled nursing facility near Moneta, VA. The primary function is to restore patient independence and support goals set with physicians and the therapy team.

This full-time role offers Monday–Friday shifts, pay of $39.00–$49.00 per hour, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, and PTO. We provide CEUs and ongoing career growth opportunities to advance your profession.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current license to practice in the state of employment.
• Ability to navigate EHR and service-delivery software.

Responsibilities

• Help patients regain optimal physical function in SNF.
• Educate patients to maintain gains after discharge.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and exercise programs.

Position Summary:

The primary function of your job is to return patient to optimal physical function and facilitate the achievement of patients, physicians, and therapy goals within a SNF setting. Instruct the patient in maintaining achieved level of function after discharge through education, independent exercise program, and appropriate activity modification.

Education/Qualifications:

• Employee must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current and valid license granted from state of employment.
• Must possess basic computer skills and the ability to navigate through various software programs, including service delivery software and the electronic health record software.
