Job summary

Ascension Providence in Waco, TX, seeks an Occupational Therapist for inpatient rehab to assess living skills and daily function, designing tailored care plans that rebuild patient independence. You will deliver targeted therapies, continually evaluating and documenting progress to optimize recovery, and guide patients, families and caregivers through education on adaptive equipment, ongoing care and discharge planning.

Supervise OT assistants to ensure safe, compliant care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or higher.
• Texas OT license or eligibility to obtain within 180 days of hire.
• BLS Provider certification or eligibility to obtain within 30 days of hire.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or higher.
• Valid Occupational Therapy (OT) license from the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners, or eligibility to obtain within 180 days of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, or eligibility to obtain within 30 days of hire.
