Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate, plan, and administer OT programs to restore function and independence. You will develop and update care plans with patients and families, facilitate participation in daily living activities, and improve quality of life through prescribed exercises and education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in Pennsylvania is required upon hire.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) is required.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and implements occupational therapy plans of care to restore function and prevent disability.
• Implements individualized treatment plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Provides OT treatment aligned with patient needs assessment and goals.
• Performs reassessments and updates treatment plans as needed.
• Communicates patient progress to supervisor, physician, and team members.
• Delivers care with a developmental and patient-family centered approach.
• Provides supervision as appropriate under regulatory requirements.
• Creates measurable goals and timeframes for OT plans.
