Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients at the Health Center in Hazleton. You will develop and update plans of care to restore function and maximize independence, using evidence-based OT techniques and education.

You will collaborate with patients and families to enable return to daily activities and a healthier lifestyle, while traveling to Home Care assignments as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy with clinical experiences completed.
• Demonstrates sound clinical reasoning in evaluating data and forming diagnoses.
• Knowledge of occupational therapy techniques.
• Must communicate with patients, family, and co-workers in a friendly, supportive manner.
• Must provide safe, compassionate and competent Occupational Therapy treatments.
• Ability to travel to Home Care assignments.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania.
• Upon Hire OT - Licensed Occupational Therapist - State of Pennsylvania

Aufgaben

• Establishes and implements OT plans of care to restore function and improve independence.
• Administers OT treatment using evidence-based techniques and activities of daily living training.
• Performs reassessment and updates OT plans as needed.
• Communicates patient progress to supervisor, physician and team members.
• Provides cost-effective care in line with billing guidelines.
• Ensures documentation meets policies and regulatory requirements.
