Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a per diem Home Care program, based in the Dickson City area. The role emphasizes evaluation, plan development, and hands-on therapy to restore function and independence.

You will work across locations with per diem assignments, provide safe, compassionate care, and communicate patient progress to the care team. A PA OT license and BLS are required upon hire; Master or Doctorate degrees are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required with clinical experiences completed as part of school program.
• Demonstrates sound clinical reasoning in evaluation and diagnosis.
• Ability to communicate with patients, family and coworkers warmly and clearly.
• Must be able to travel to patient care assignments - Home Care only.
• BLS certification required upon hire in PA.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in PA upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and implements OT plans of care to restore function and independence.
• Implements individualized treatment using evidence-based techniques.
• Provides OT treatment aligned with patient needs and assessments.
• Reassesses and adjusts plans as needed.
• Communicates progress to supervisor, physician and team members.
• Implements OT plans for diverse age groups with family involvement.
• Provides supervision per regulatory requirements as appropriate.
• Sets measurable goals and timelines for OT care.
