Lehigh Valley Health Network seeks a pediatric Occupational Therapist to evaluate, plan, direct, and administer OT programs that restore function and independence for children. You will assess patient needs, develop and update care plans, and facilitate participation in everyday living with therapy exercises and education.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy with successful clinical experiences; Master’s or Doctorate in OT is preferred for Home Care;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy as a minimum requirement.
• Less than 1 year of clinical experience as required by the program.
• Ability to travel to Home Care patient care assignments and BLS certification.
• Must communicate with patients, families and coworkers effectively.
• Knowledge of occupational therapy techniques and evidence-based practice.

Responsabilités

• Establishes and implements OT plans of care to restore function and prevent disability.
• Implements individualized treatment plans with exercises, manual techniques, mobility training and ADLs.
• Provides OT treatment aligned with patient needs assessments.
• Performs reassessments and updates plans as needed.
• Communicates patient progress to supervisors, physicians and the care team.
• Maintains documentation per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provides supervision per regulatory requirements and offers measurable goals/timelines.
