Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. is seeking Occupational Therapists to provide home-based early intervention services for infants and toddlers with developmental needs.

The team delivers therapy across California with multidisciplinary programs including OT, PT, and SLP, in family and community settings. We offer a sign-on bonus, flexible schedules, mileage reimbursement, and professional development support.

Qualifications

• California Occupational Therapy license is required.
• Pediatric experience required (Early Intervention preferred).
• Home-based service delivery experience preferred.
• Strong clinical & interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written & oral communication skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus!

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments, provide occupational therapy services utilizing the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon).
• Follow each child's IFSP and work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach their specific developmental goals.
• Utilize the family-centered parent coaching approach to build caregivers' confidence and skills and to ensure that progress is generalized.
• Provide services in the child's natural environment, in families' homes, daycare centers and/or other community settings.
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations).
