Job summary

Sunny Days is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team providing home-based early intervention services to infants and toddlers in California. You will work with families in their homes and community settings to implement therapy plans and coach caregivers.

The role requires a CA OT license, pediatric EI experience, and strong communication skills. We offer flexible schedules, travel time compensation, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

  • California Occupational Therapy license
  • Pediatric experience required (Early Intervention experience preferred)
  • Home-based service delivery experience preferred
  • Strong clinical & interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

  • Conduct developmental assessments and provide OT services using the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon).
  • Follow each child's IFSP and work with families to develop strategies for developmental goals.
  • Use family-centered parent coaching to build caregiver confidence and generalize progress.
  • Provide services in the child’s natural environment: home, daycare, or community settings.
  • Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (bi-annual).
  • Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and state/federal regulations.

Sunny Days is a nationwide agency and has programs throughout the state of California. Our programs are multidisciplinary, providing occupational, physical, and speech therapy, as well as child development services.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual)

Requirements
