Job summary

Ascension in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to support rehabilitation services in Columbia Saint Mary's. The role requires evaluating and treating patients with physical, cognitive, or emotional challenges, and crafting individualized plans of care with suitable modalities and frequencies.

You will monitor patient progress, adjust treatment strategies in real time, and educate families to ensure a safe, successful transition home.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire.
• Registered Rehab Therapist (OTR) credentialed by Wisconsin Board.

• Design Custom Care: Using your clinical intuition, you'll craft and implement personalized plans of care, selecting the modalities and treatment frequencies that best suit each unique patient’s goals.
• Innovate & Adapt: Healing isn't linear. You will continuously monitor progress and pivot your treatment strategies in real-time to ensure the best possible outcomes.
• Educate & Advocate: You'll serve as a vital bridge for families and caregivers, providing the education and adaptive tools they need to ensure a safe, successful transition home.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Rehab Therapist specializing in Occupational Therapy (OTR) credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Occupational Therapy (OT) license credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
