Job summary

JBS Foods in Grand Island, Nebraska is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care to employees and support health, safety, and return-to-work programs. Under the supervision of the Occupational Health Manager, you will help maintain regulatory compliance and promote a culture of safety.

The role includes clinical care, case management, and collaboration with Safety, HR, and Operations to advance employee health and workplace safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current and unrestricted RN license.
• Minimum of one year nursing experience.
• Occupational health, industrial nursing, urgent care, workers' compensation, or emergency care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to employees under physician directives and nursing standards.
• Manage return-to-work and case management per medical restrictions.
• Promote OSHA, HIPAA, and safety regulations compliance and recordkeeping.
• Collaborate with Safety, Human Resources, and Operations teams to support health objectives.
• Conduct occupational health screenings and preventive health initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality and continuity of care for employees.
